The Twin Cities Early Music Festival brings together singers and musicians from Minnesota and beyond specialized in the performance of music from the Renaissance through the Classical period.

This workshop will introduce the tools and methods of bowmaking. Award winning bowmaker David Hawthorne will demonstrate the making of a complete baroque bow, and students will have  benches to try out the techniques they have seen and heard discussed, with supervision and help.

Historical performances (spanning the years 1100 – 1800) will include medieval repertoire by Amy Bartram and Ensemble Peregrina*.
