Musicans and Teachers for Hire

Early Music America is offering a new benefit for its members who are professional performers and teachers.

EMA will create a new section in the 2012 Membership Directory, “Musicians and Teachers for Hire.” This new section will have a two-fold purpose: to provide a valuable hiring tool for ensembles, presenters, and potential students throughout North America, and to help our members get students and gigs!

Inclusion in the new section is open to all EMA members (individual members, or one representative from Organizational members). It is intended to include only professional performers and teachers. The section will be organized geographically first, then by performing/teaching specialty.

To be included, you must opt-in by December 31, 2011.

A listing in this section does not replace your “regular” listing in the directory; it is in addition to that listing.

To opt-in, send the following information to Sally Mitchell, info@earlymusic.org by December 31, 2011:

    • Name
    • instrument(s)/voice part
    • performer, teacher, or both
    • period specialties, if any
    • list up to 4 recent ensemble/institutional affiliations (in the past 3 years)

(Your contact information will be the same information published in the Individual or Organizational section of the directory.)
