Organizational Membership Costs and Benefits

Costs:

Annual budget up to $100,000 $85
Annual budget $100-200,000 $125
Annual budget over $200,000 $150

Additional magazine subscriptions: $15/year each
Additional Directories $10/year each

Benefits (publications):

All organizations will receive:

  • One subscription to Early Music America magazine for the organization, plus extra subscriptions as follows:
At $85 level up to 3 extra subscriptions
At $125 level up to 4 extra subscriptions
At $150 level up to 4 extra subscriptions plus subscriptions for board members

  • One subscription to Early Music America bulletin via e-mail
  • One copy of Directory of Members
  • Listings in Directory of Members:
  • Full listing in Organization section of Directory, with description.
(We encourage you to include your ensemble members’ names in your description.)
Up to four “mini listings” in Individual section of Directory. The main contact personnel listed will automatically be given “mini listings” unless they also maintain their own individual memberships.
Ex: Public, Suzy Q., see Everytown Baroque Ensemble

Other benefits:

  • Eligibility for discounted health insurance through TEIGIT and instrument insurance through Clarion for up to 8 individuals
  • Link from EMA’s website to organization’s website
  • Eligibility for awards, competitions, and scholarships through EMA for the organization and up to 8 individuals
  • Eligibility for Affiliate status with EMA
  • Discounted advertising in EMA publications

In addition, benefits of individual membership are extended to organizations:
  • Access to all Members Only features on web site except Grove Online
  • Festival discounts to the Berkeley and Boston Early Music festivals
  • Discounts on EMA mailing lists
  • Discounts on various publications
  • Technical support


Instrument Builders Membership Benefits
Cost: $65/year

Additional magazine subscriptions: $15/year each
Additional Directories $10/year each

  • One subscription to Early Music America magazine for the instrument builder, plus up to two extra subscriptions
  • One subscription to Early Music America bulletin via e-mail
  • One copy of Directory of Members
  • Listings in Directory of Members:
  • Full listing in Organization section of Directory, with description. Up to two “mini listings” in Individual section of Directory. The main contact person listed will automatically be given a “mini listing” unless they also maintain their own individual membership.
