Ph.D., Historical Musicology, Case Western Reserve University, special interests:  Music in 17th- and 18th-century Brussels; 15th century instrumental performance pratice; Giovanni Battista Ferrini; and 17th-century Italian Keyboard Music.  Articles in NGD, MGG, Fontes artis music, Historical Performance (original EMA journal), American Recorder, Oude Muziek, Annals of the University of Brussels, Southeastern Historical Keyboard Society Journal, Diapason, Archives and Musicology.  Recently published an edition of the motets of Petrus Hercules Brehy for Alamire, translation of Jean-Joseph Boutmy's continuo treatise, Fiocco manuscript study, et al.  Fellow of the Belgian American Educational Foundation and Fulbright Scholar in Belgium.

Harpsichord studies with David Fuller and Larry Palmer; harpsichord and fortepiano with Gwendolyn Toth.  Recorder studies with David Hart and Rachel Begley.  Perfoms on harpsichord, virginal, English classical square piano, recorder, and early winds
