Seven Times Salt

Personal Summary / Bio

Seven Times Salt was formed in February 2003. We are based in Boston, MA, and we perform chamber music of the 16th and 17th centuries.  Our specialty is the English consort repertoire of Thomas Morley and his contemporaries.  We have performed at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, Taylor House B&B, Plimoth Plantation, and on WGBH radio.  Seven Times Salt has presented original programs for The Society For Historically Informed Performance, the Boston Recorder Society, the Amherst, Bloomington (IN) and Boston Early Music Festivals.  We also enjoy playing Renaissance and English country dances, and have accompanied the Ken Pierce Dance Company and I Sebastiani (a commedia dell'arte troupe) in dance performances.
