Personal Summary / Bio
Rebekah Gilmore is a freelance soprano and choral conductor in the Pacific Northwest. She performs regularly with the Tudor Choir (US), the Renaissance Singers (US) and has performed with Portland’s Cappella Romana (US) and members of the TallisScholars (UK) under the direction of Peter Phillips. She has performed as a soloist with the Seattle Academy of Baroque Opera (US) under the direction ofSteven Stubbs, and Allegro Baroque in Spokane, WA. Rebekah can also be heard onnumerous movie, TV, and video game soundtracks.
In the Fall of 2010, Rebekah founded the Ave Renaissance Women’s Choir in Seattle. She is the managing director of the Tallis Scholars Summer School USA and the artist representative for the Tudor Choir. She currently serves St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, Seattle, WA as the director of the Boys and Girls Choir and St. James Catholic Cathedral, Seattle, as a soloist and conductor. Rebekah also maintains a private voice studio Seattle.
When Rebekah isn't making music, she is out running with her golden retriever Gilbert, cooking all sorts of yummy things, and growing veggies in her garden.
