Personal Summary / Bio

Amanda Jane Kelley has performed a wide variety of early music throughout the Pacific Northwest. Ms. Kelley recently performed the role of Anima in the Seattle Academy of Baroque Opera and Oratorio’s staged production of “Il Rapresentatione di Anima et Corpo” by Emilio Cavalieri. Other performances include Bach’s Magnificat with the Portland Baroque Orchestra; French Baroque music at Reed College in Portland; Medieval music with Contrafacta in Seattle; and an appearance with the Rose Ensemble and the Lyra Consort with David Douglass in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. Amanda was a musician in the popular "Greenshow" at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland and toured with the Rogue Valley Opera company. After being heard on an album of shakuhachi flute music, she was asked to sing in Tokyo, Japan. By day, she is a music editor for OCP and lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband Aaron and daughter Kendra.
