Personal Summary / Bio
I am a graduate of the Purchase Conservatory of Music, Purchase NY, where I studied Historical Brass Performance (cornetto) and Musicology. This was an interdisciplanary degree that I designed along with Conservatory staff, and it was the first of its kind at Purchase College.
After graduating, I was awarded the Artist-in-Resdience Scholarhip to study with Bruce Dickey at the San Francisco Early Music Society's Med/Ren Workshop, and I composed an article for the International Trumpet Guild Journal on 17th Century Cornetto repertoire.
I am now working toward a Master of Arts degree in Musicology at McGill University's Schulich School of Music. I study cornetto with Mathew Jennejohn, and my academic focus is on organology.
