Higher Education

Mission

The Early Music in Higher Education Committee is a standing committee of Early Music America whose mission is to promote and nurture early music performance programs at North American colleges and universities, to help EMA serve collegium directors and others involved in early music performance in higher education, and to facilitate exchange of ideas among early music educators. The membership of the committee consists of individuals active in early music performance instruction either as directors of ensembles or as studio teachers.

Feel free to contact the chair of the committee if you are interested in serving on the committee or if you have suggestions for ways that EMA or the EMHE Committee might better serve the academic early music performance community.
