Culminating concert of the Historical Harp Conference: Lamento d'Arianna is the only surviving excerpt from Monteverdi's opera Arianna (1608). 2008 is its 400th anniversary! This rendition (solo voice alone with arpa doppia) is both true to performance practice of the period and a rarely heard and beautiful combination.
