Lyra is thrilled to welcome the international early music ensemble Me La Amargates Tú to Minnesota for their United States debut. The group specializes in music of the Sephardic Jews, who were expelled from Spain in the fifteenth century and relocated throughout the Middle East. The group will join Lyra musicians in a one-hour program of Sephardic music as well as Spanish music from the 16th and 17th centuries. More information and musical samples at mlat.org.
Lyra's one-hour family concerts are programmed especially for children; child care workers and alternate activities (coloring and other projects) are available for active children in the concert space.
