Musikanten Montana (Kerry Krebill, artistic director/conductor); The Brandhout Ensemble; guest artists from around the country -- traverso player Nancy Schneelock-Bingham, organist Keith Reas, sopranos Amanda Balestrieri and Heather Barnes, mezzo-soprano Bailey Whiteman, tenor Kevin Sutton, baritones Bobb Robinson and Robert Tudor; special guest conductor Andres Bugallo from La Plata, Argentina.

The Montana Early Music Festival is produced annually by the choral chamber ensemble Musikanten Montana.  The 2010 festival (the 8th) comprises 5 concerts -- 3 in Helena and 2 in Missoula.  The major work being performed this year is Handel's dramatic oratorio Israel in Egypt (Saturday March 14 in Helena and Sunday March 15 in Missoula, 7 pm each night).  Missoula's popular Brandhout Ensemble will play a Friday concert in Helena and Monday in Missoula, featuring two major Bach works.  The soloists' concert on Thursday will include Heinrich Schuetz's Musikalisches Exequien.  Subscription passes as well as individual concert tickets are available.  Call 406-933-5246 (Helena) or 406-543-5059 (Missoula) for venues and ticket information.
