The Lute Society of America is pleased to return to the West Coast, and co-present this Workshop with Early Music Vancouver. The workshop is designed to accommodate lutenists of all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced. Beginners are especially encouraged to attend. The primary focus is Renaissance and Baroque lute. However, because faculty expertise covers a variety of instruments, this Workshop should also be of interest to players of other early plucked instruments, including theorbo and Baroque guitar. Specific course to be announced

A variety of week-long classes for both Renaissance and Baroque lute will be presented. Class options will include: Masterclasses, Lute Technique, Lute Construction , Lute Maintenance, Solos & Duets, Continuo & Accompaniment, Lectures & Special Presentations. Concerts by Workshop faculty will be featured.
