Traverso masterclasses, chamber class and private lessons at all levels. Stephen Preston wil teach the masterclasses for advanced players every morning and evening as well as lead a historical dance class on the opening evening of June 22. Amara Guitry will teach the "Have A Go" traverso class for silver flute players who are new to the traverso, as well as a chamber music class intermediate and advanced players. She is also available to give private lessons.  There are masterclasses for silver flute players happening simultaneously, as well as classes in flute repair, bodymapping, perform confidently, flute choir and extended techniques. Flute World is in residence the entire week. We share the premises with the James Houlik saxophone masterclass. Wildacres Retreat in atop a mountain just off the Blue Ridge Parkway about 65 miles east of Asheville, NC. Accommodations are two to a room with private bath, three delicious meals a day and our own concert hall.
