TENET celebrates its Fifth Anniversary as one of New York’s preeminent vocal ensembles. Under artistic director Jolle Greenleaf, TENET has won acclaim for its innovative programming, virtuosic singing and command of repertoire that spans the Middle Ages to the present. TENET features distinguished soloists who shine in one-voice-to-a-part singing and as joined voices in small ensembles.  TENET is ensemble in residence at the historic St. Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church on New York City’s Upper West Side where they have presented critically acclaimed performances regularly.  Highlights during the past five years include programs featuring music from Claudio Monteverdi’s dazzling collections of sacred and secular music, Selva Morale e Spirituale, Madrigali guerrieri et amorosi, and Scherzi musicali, collaborations with Clarion Music Society, Dark Horse Consort, the Sebastians, New York Polyphony, Five Boroughs Music Festival, and performances at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Berkshire Bach Festival, Festival Casals de Puerto Rico, and this season at Carnegie’s Zankel Hall.
